Trust, Workmanship, and Friendship is what you will find with my knives. I began forging knives in 2000, just before I met my mentor Mr. Don Fogg. My deepest respects and warmest appreciation go to Don and his wonderful family. Another person that has taken his time to help me is: Mr. Alex K, Daniels, Alex is a wonderful teacher and an asset to everyone he meets. I strive to make knives that are as useful in the hand as they are pleasing to the eye. All my knives are differentially heat treated with a hard edge and a soft spine. This allows the flexibility and toughness of the knife to excel in the field. I like use natural materials in my knives and feel that each piece has it's own unique look and feel to a knife. I stabilize my handle materials to ensure the materials hold the look with a minimum of movement over several years. I like to use color and texture in my knives by adding highlights or what I call surprises, I find that the knife can become pleasing to the eye with a little file work or a burl in just the right place. What I offer in my knives is experience, good solid materials, fine craftsmanship, and an eye for uniqueness. |
