Justin's First Knife |
|
Many of you are already familiar with some of the special knives I have made in the past, A knife for a man with no hands, a surgeons scalpel, an apothecary knife, and many others. I decided to make a knife that would be used to separate my son from his mother at birth, a knife to cut his umbilical cord.
Welcome to the world my son 9-10-2004

FEATURED IN AUG-2004 ISSUE OF BLADE MAGAZINE.
She is a unique custom made for a true woodsman that has prosthetic hooks in place of hands, it allows him to regain the freedoms he lost with his hands. She has a socket for a bow-saw, a gut hook, a saw, and the choil acts as a logging hook. She has proven herself in the woods of New England and is a fine knife. |

both the knife and fork were hand forged from 1095 carbon steel and have a super clean 2000+ grit hand finished. It was truly an honor to make this set and I believe it to be the finest things I have ever made. The engraving on the German Silver furniture was done by Joe Mason. |
